A photo series that captures Mexico City’s vibrant shopping streets seen after hours. By day, the streets are jammed with people, products spill out of shops and it is possible to buy anything in stores, at stalls, or from wandering vendors. Desires are evoked, needs fulfilled and people gather to socialize, eat and shop.
After hours, metal doors roll down, there is no buying or selling, no collective life or chance to window shop. The once bustling spaces sit silently for just a few hours until doors roll up again.
